FAQ

Straight answers, before you book

The questions we get asked most, answered without hedging. If yours is not here, call or email and we will tell you directly.

How is pricing determined?
Pricing is based on how much space the load takes up in the truck, the weight and type of material, how far items have to be carried, and whether stairs or tight doorways are involved. Full-property cleanouts are quoted as a whole job rather than by the item.
Can I get an estimate from photos?
Yes. Photos of the pile, room, or item — plus the town and a note about access — are usually enough for a clear quote. Text or email them and we will confirm a price or tell you what else we need to see.
Do I have to move items outside first?
No. We do the lifting and carrying from wherever the items sit, including basements, attics, and upper floors. If you would rather stage things in the driveway, that is fine too and can reduce the time on site.
What about very heavy or awkward items?
Safes, treadmills, pianos, hot tubs, oversized sectionals, and similar pieces need to be discussed in advance so we bring the right equipment and enough hands. Send measurements and a photo of the exit path.
Can you clear an entire property?
Yes. Whole-home and estate cleanouts are a core part of what we do, including garage, basement, attic, and outbuildings. We can work in stages if the family needs time to sort through belongings.
How does scheduling work?
We confirm a date and an arrival window with you, then keep you updated as the window approaches. If anything changes on our end, you hear it from us directly rather than finding out when nobody shows up.
What do you need to know about access?
Where the truck can park, whether there are stairs or an elevator, gate or building codes, low-clearance driveways, and any building rules about work hours. The more we know beforehand, the smoother the job.
Do you take hazardous materials?
Hazardous material acceptance must be confirmed in advance. Things like fuel, solvents, chemicals, asbestos-containing material, and certain paints have specific disposal requirements. Ask before the appointment and we will tell you what we can and cannot take.
Do you clean up afterward?
Yes. We do a basic sweep-up of the area we cleared so the space is ready for whatever comes next. It is not a deep cleaning service, but you should not be left with a mess.
